Jackson views design as a dramaturgical endeavor.

They believe every choice matters, and that every link in the chain—from content design to systems engineering—makes a meaningful contribution to storytelling. They implement design work using tools like Disguise, RenderStream, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Resolume, QLab, ETC Eos, After Effects, and Vectorworks—but storytelling always comes first. Jackson also knows his way around a broadcast control room.

Jackson holds an M.F.A. in Live Design and Production (Integrated Media) from The University of Texas at Austin. They hold a B.A. in Digital Media Arts from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN.

Jackson is a proud member of IATSE ACT.
